This winter, step into Brisbane’s riverside winter destination at The Hills of Rivermakers. From glowing fire pits tables and private igloos to seasonal dining experiences beneath the stars, Winter Escape transforms the heritage-listed precinct into a cosy open-air retreat designed for long nights, shared moments and unforgettable gatherings.
Perfect for birthdays, group celebrations, date nights and winter catch-ups, our experiences are available for groups of 2+ guests and include a curated set menu and accompanying beverage package. Designed for couples, friends and social gatherings, we combine warm seasonal food, flowing drinks and open-air fireside ambience in a uniquely welcoming setting.
Running for a limited season only from 27 May until the end of August, Winter Escape invites guests to settle in beside the fire, indulge in curated winter menus, sip seasonal cocktails and experience one of Brisbane’s most unique winter dining experiences. With limited nightly sittings available, bookings are essential.

Are children allowed?
Yes. Winter Escape at The Hills of Rivermakers are family-friendly, with experiences suitable for both adults and families. A reduced set menu is available for $49 per child. To book please call our Reservations Team on 07 3421 0166.
What happens if it rains?
The experience will continue in most weather conditions, with covered and protected areas throughout the precinct.
How many guests fit in an igloo?
Igloo Experiences are designed for groups of 4 or more guests with a maximum of 10 guests, with limited capacities depending on the package selected.
Is the experience available year-round?
No. Winter Escape is a limited seasonal experience running from 27 May until the 29 August only.
Can I book a Igloo for 2 people?
Yes, Groups of 2 can book a Private Igloo Experience. However there is limited availability and early bookings are essential.

Terms and Conditions: The Hills of Rivermakers Winter Escapes is a pre-booked experience, full prepayment is required to secure all reservations, with each booking allocated a 2-hour experience and limited to a maximum of 10 guests for Igloo experiences and 6 guests for Fire Pit experiences, with one package selection per booking. For groups of 2 & 3 people we have very limited igloo availability, if the smaller Igloo is unavailable, groups of 2 & 3 may need to book a larger igloo and pay extra to meet the minimum of the larger Igloos. To arrange please contact reservations on (07) 3421 0166. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the booking time may are non-refundable. No-shows and late cancellations forfeit the full booking amount. The Hills of Rivermakers reserves the right to refuse entry or service in accordance with venue policies and licensing requirements. All experiences operate on a set menu with no substitutions or alterations available. Menus are seasonal and may vary on the day, and while we prioritise quality and consistency, select items may be substituted due to availability or unforeseen circumstances. Children attending must remain supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Fire Pit Tables contain open flame elements. Guests must follow all staff safety instructions during the experience. Igloos and fire pit tables are outdoor experiences and are subject to weather conditions; in the event of unsuitable weather, we will endeavour to accommodate your booking inside where possible. A 5% surcharge applies on Saturdays, 10% on Sundays and 15% on public holidays. A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions, with a maximum of two credit cards accepted per table and no split bills available.
