This winter, The Hills of Rivermakers transforms into a warm and inviting riverside escape, bringing together glowing fire pits, cosy private igloos and elevated seasonal dining beneath the stars. Inspired by the atmosphere of the alpine season, Winter Escape is designed for long nights, shared moments and unforgettable winter experiences with family and friends.
Available for a limited time only from May through to the end of August, guests are invited to book one of our exclusive winter experiences and settle into Brisbane’s newest winter destination. With limited nightly sittings available, bookings are essential.
Igloo Experiences
Step inside your own private winter igloo and enjoy a curated two-hour dining experience designed for groups of four or more. Styled with warm lighting, layered textures and an intimate winter atmosphere, our igloos offer the perfect setting for celebrations, group dinners, family gatherings and cosy nights out.
Choose from our seasonal Silver or Gold dining packages, featuring shared winter dishes alongside a two-hour beverage package including house wines, Revel beers, still and sparkling water. Designed to feel indulgent yet relaxed, the Igloo Experience brings together elevated dining and the welcoming atmosphere The Hills is known for.
Available Wednesday to Saturday with limited nightly sittings at 5pm and 7:30pm.
Fire Pit Tables
Gather around the glow of your own private fire pit table and experience relaxed winter dining by the river. Designed for couples, friends and social gatherings, our Fire Pit Tables combine warm seasonal food, flowing drinks and open-air fireside ambience in a uniquely welcoming setting.
With lounge-style seating, glowing firelight and winter cocktails available throughout the evening, Fire Pit Tables offer a more casual way to enjoy Winter Escape while still embracing the atmosphere and magic of the season.
Available Wednesday to Saturday for limited nightly sittings.
Terms and Conditions: The Hills of Rivermakers Winter Escapes is a pre-booked experience, full prepayment is required to secure all reservations, with each booking allocated a 2-hour experience and limited to a maximum of 10 guests for Igloo experiences and 6 guests for Fire Pit experiences, with one package selection per booking. For groups of 2 & 3 people we have very limited igloo availability, if the smaller Igloo is unavailable, groups of 2 & 3 may need to book a larger igloo and pay extra to meet the minimum of the larger Igloos. To arrange please contact reservations on (07) 3421 0166. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the booking time may are non-refundable. No-shows and late cancellations forfeit the full booking amount. The Hills of Rivermakers reserves the right to refuse entry or service in accordance with venue policies and licensing requirements. All experiences operate on a set menu with no substitutions or alterations available. Menus are seasonal and may vary on the day, and while we prioritise quality and consistency, select items may be substituted due to availability or unforeseen circumstances. Children attending must remain supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Fire Pit Tables contain open flame elements. Guests must follow all staff safety instructions during the experience. Igloos and fire pit tables are outdoor experiences and are subject to weather conditions; in the event of unsuitable weather, we will endeavour to accommodate your booking inside where possible. A 5% surcharge applies on Saturdays, 10% on Sundays and 15% on public holidays. A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions, with a maximum of two credit cards accepted per table and no split bills available.
